"The Honourable Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Solidarity, Mr. Jean Boulet, the
CPCPA, the CPAs and the CSMO-Auto are very proud to announce the awarding of the new
Ambition-Compétences grant amounting to $7 M, which will contribute to the training of our future automotive mechanics Electric Vehicles (EVs) throughout Quebec.


Launched in January 2020, thanks to the financial support of Emploi-Québec, the Electric Vehicle
Electric Vehicles (EV) automotive mechanics program has helped train more than 390 automotive mechanics. Starting in September, and for a period of 3 years, this new grant will make it possible to
increase this pool by training an additional 560 mechanics and 350 parts clerks.

 

The exponential growth of EVs on our roads requires this kind of training across Quebec, and this initiative is part of the
